If you haven't benefitted from something that Adam Frankl has built, it would come as a surprise. As a developer, Adam worked on USA's F22 and led the team that created UML. His passions came to a head when Adam had a desire to give devs the tools to make them better and happier.
Adam joined neo4j in 2010 as their VP of Marketing, getting the word out about incredibly-scalable graph databases. Then, Adam went and helped spread the word about JFrog - one of the most-recognized artifact storage providers - as their VP of Marketing. Adam's last full-time role was the VP of Marketing at Sourcegraph, where he helped shape their marketing efforts about code search.
Adam didn't hesitate to come on-board to SourceField - because, as he put it, "SourceField is solving one of the major unsolved problems in software engineering."
